Sarasota: 79% of Voters Said Hold The Line on Growth. by Geniusofdespair

Citizens in Sarasota voted to "fortify the rural border."

Reported by Doug Sword:

"Anger over years of rapid growth fueled voters' overwhelming approval Tuesday of a ballot question aimed at protecting the county's rural portion from dense development."

Too bad we are not as enlightened here in Miami.

Just remember that citizens in Miami are NOT allowed to vote.

Sarasota is an Anglo American Region where as in Dade County those that can vote are immigrants from the Banana Republic sucked in by their local long termed in office District Commissioners, &
US gov. entitlements and great promises. They're not thinking of holding the line--UDB on growth.
They're interest is getting the rest of the flock over here....
