Now that it is time to put up the bucks and qualify for Strong Mayor of Miami Dade County, some candidates are dropping out. Lazaro R. Gonzalez and Santiago Portal dropped out Monday. Jeffrey Lampert and Helen Williams joined the other 14 that are left. expect more dropouts today.

As far as Natacha Seijas's District 13 seat goes, Candidates Carlos Amaro and Tania Castellanos have joined Esteban L. Bovo. Today is the last day for candidates to qualify for these two seats. That means all office holders will have to resign to run.
