Donald Trump: He doesn't appear to care about his neighbors in Doral.

Doral golf course owner Donald Trump is blocking the long time views of the golf course by residents with Areca Palms leaving residents without light and views and diminished property values.

The high growing trees (they are classified as trees and grow over 20 feet and 8 to 10 feet in diameter) are being planted up against the people's units property line blocking their light and view.  Donald Trump has left the people weighing their option of selling out their communities to highrise developers. 

Donald Trump is a greedy bastard in my opinion. He should agree to buy the land so he has control on what is built instead of screwing the homeowners who were already there.  He has this illusion that like in other States, golf courses should have no development around them. You can't do this in Florida as housing always surrounded golf courses.  Golf Courses standing alone has never been the case in Florida so Donal Trump has to wall off the public.

Hiding houses in plain sight built in the middle of your course, a selfish thing to do.

He deserves high rises that he can't hide rather than low rises that he is essentially  destroying homeowner's quality of life, people that never hurt him.  Homeowners  bought their homes under the assumption they would have lovely views.  Instead the government of Doral is paying Donald Trump $2.5 million dollars to stage a beauty pageant at the golf course. Now how stupid is that. Giving tax money collected from golf course folks to one of the guy that is screwing them, one of the richest guys in the US. It is salt in the wound.

Keep the Donald out of Miami. He is not worth it.   TV Channel 10 captured the situation on camera.   Maybe the people will picket during his beauty pageant, Miss Universe.  The embattled mayor of Doral, Luigi Boria, is taking a lot of heat for the money promised Donal Trump, betraying the people who put him in office over the carpetbagger Trump. Be sure to watch the video. One lady said they should get their guns and their ammo and go after Trump.

Donald Trump doesn't appear to care about the people who want to look at a promised vista - they paid handsomely for the view - instead they look at a wall of tightly planted shrubs. Who wasn't sold their unit on  the promise of a golf course view?

I find this to be a big problem, candidates claiming to live in districts just to run for office. It is going on in North Miami with 2 candidates, Coral Gables and here in Doral. Sometimes the homestead exemption trips them up, but most of the time they just skate into office based on a lie. Horrible way to start isn't it? Remember the school board member, Perez, who claimed he lived in a shed on his parents property? We have to tighten up residency requirements or do away with them. The current system is NOT working. Rebeca Sosa, be a maverick again, like you were with the absentee voter fraud issue, take this on to stop the lies...take it to Tallahassee because I can name two State Rep's in Miami Dade County that don't live in their districts.

According to the Miami Herald, Property Appraiser Carlos Lopez Cantera has determined Doral Councilwoman broke homestead exemption rules:

For saving $1,460 in her property taxes, Doral’s Deputy Mayor Bettina Rodríguez-Aguilera is being closely watched by Miami-Dade officials, with Property Appraiser Carlos López-Cantera saying Tuesday that Rodríguez-Aguilera violated Florida’s homestead-exemption rules.

“Our office found that the councilwoman had committed a violation,” said López-Cantera in a statement to El Nuevo Herald. “This was determined through an investigation we did at the request of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement."

I watched two of the videos, Doral Mayor loses control (at counter 1:22) and City of Doral Mayor insults Police Chief (at counter .38) that were mentioned in in the Miami Herald Business Section this morning. Yes, Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez was rude but these are NOTHING in comparison to County Commissioner Vile Natacha Seijas’ dressing down of the public and staff. I have seen much worse at the City of Miami as well. This is non news, the video's were hardly worth watching. For real rude hit on the link at right "Defede: Natacha Seijas is downright mean". However, the second video of Bermudez has a funny swipe at the “Hialeah Boys.”
