I Welcome Puerto Rico as Our 51st State. By Geniusofdespair

While all of you fight the non-issue of football players and the US Flag, I want to welcome a new flag with one more star for Puerto Rico. Donald Trump does not know Puerto Ricans are even US Citizens. Look at the disrespect he tweeted today:

This morning, Trump used Twitter to criticize San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz for her “poor leadership ability”, in other words, attacking/blaming the messenger, and of course insulting half the United States citizens, Democrats.  Donald Trump: "I did not tell the Mayor of San Juan to be nasty to you. Leave me out of it."

Listen to Cruz from 2:25 on this video or 4:00.

When people say something about football players, you say something more relevant: 51 stars.

My Eyes... Can see Videos, Pictures of destructions coming from family members in Puerto Rico...and from social media outlets that Trump has No capabilty to edit -- the destruction of Hurricane Maria is there for all of to see.

My Ears.... Can hear the Pleas and the Crying, of people who are scared, worried, and waiting to hear from love ones.

My Hands... Feel helpless.. Just like every other PR American who want to get on a plane to PR. to help those in need.

My Legs... Are ready to jump into geer to recues so many in harm way.

POTUS: You have the audacity to use your hands to tweet to your base and legs to play golf this weekend, You use your Eyes and Ears only to monitor your Ratings and mouth to shout out Self Justification!
You won't admit to your 30-% base, that you and the WH were not prepared for a hurricane of this Magnitude nor did you care as much as you did for NFL kneeling and Your Tax reform (used in my opinion for the distration of Hurricane Maria). Today, Puerto Rico remains a CommonWealth of the United States—a territory under the territorial clause in the United States Constitution., and yes, surrounded by a Big Ocean, and as the POTUS you left them to dry... 9 full days before given orders to help our US territory...

Rest assure that the 50+% Americans of the USA are Watching, Listening, and are ready to do What ever it takes!

Having suffered the trauma of Andrew, then the first two weeks of the aftermath without military control, I have great empathy and I really feel what the Mayor is saying. Imagine two cat 5s back to back. But for the grace of God, there go us. And hurricane season isn't over until November. I know what she is talking about. We are looking at death in the face for many people there. We can't allow that to happen.

To Trump, Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Cubans, Nicaraguans, etc., are not only second class citizens but also children of a lesser God. To go after the mayor of San Juan, a defenseless and broken woman as a result of the destruction she has witnessed, is not only cowardly but inhumane. While he stuffs his wind bag of a body with the finest foods at his country club, Puerto Ricans are facing all kinds of obstacles. Hope when he shows his dyed blonde nest of a hairdo in PR on Tuesday they give him a stiff middle finger and tell to GFH. He deserves nothing less.
