Cassius Clay AKA Muhammad Ali had a long and extensive history with Brownsville, Hampton House, Edison and other historically black enclaves in Miami. Ali respected history. What would Ali think about Keon Hardemon being used by Haitians to rename black areas after Haiti? Renaming Afro-American enclave Edison after Haiti?
When then Cassius Clay was training in Miami for his heavyweight title bout with Liston, he was not allowed to try on clothes at Burdines, could not stay overnight in Miami Beach, and was forced to stay in Overtown. It was a very sad commentary on the Miami of the early 60's. Somehow Trump has not learned to evolve, but the community of Miami has to some degree.
