We just lost the Doral tournament on the count of Trump and his business buddy Mayor Gimenez. Now we may be losing the KB tennis tournament as well. This is the sort of thing that happens when we entrust our resources to two magalomaniacs.
People have no idea what public funding goes into these events. Largely buried under city and county departments operating budget. Tump gave a hint about the finances when he said it didn't really make that much money over the normal business that time of year. The same thing goes for the dolphins and ITC. Huge outlays on the public side, not so much for the promoter. The hotels know it, the cities know it and Bill Talbert knows it. In the end we spend a few million to fuel our low self esteem. Thinking we will devolve into some low class Myrtle Beach reduced to depending on spring breaks and urban weekends unless we spend millions to host these lost leaders
It's a lesson learned. We can't hook our wagon to irresponsible business leaders, with out-sized egos. He should have been happy with making money from his business enterprises. Now people can't afford to be associated with him because of all these crazy statements, and childish actions. And his businesses are going to suffer. Now we take a hit too.

you wanted Daffy Duck not Donald Duck
Trump seems to have no real values other than making money and say or do anything to win
More like Scrooge McDuck.
would make a good bumper sticker, with some larger flying toupee.
