Incorporation and Annexation Supporters will be at County Commission Today. By Geniusofdespair

Oh come on Barbara Jordan, haven't you put these people through enough?

Supporters of Incorporation are exhausted from all the delays:
We had a multi-year moratorium, then an appointed Task Force, then an expensive comprehensive study done by consultants.

Could this mean ANOTHER delay while waiting for input from a university that probably is not knowledgeable about the residents' desires?

Let the people vote! There is a process which all the MACs have been following--we don't need another unnecessary delay to move forward to an ultimate vote!!

Public comment is allowed today.

The report suggests letting existing MACs complete the process and should protect the MAC boundaries from annexation while the MAC process is going forward.

However, since Barbara Jordan, an adamant incorporation log-jammer, put this on the Agenda, I see more hurdles in the future for incorporation advocates.
