Finally, an investigative report that penetrates the hard but brittle shell of Jeb Bush. Read Dexter Filkins in the New Yorker on Jeb and his failed Everglades experiments. For all Jeb did for Big Sugar, it is ironic the Fanjuls have thrown all their weight behind Marco Rubio, Jeb's former legislative whip on all things pro-sugar.

Crony Capitalism at it's best, corporate "people" doing their thing, aided and abetted by the electoral lemmings.
It's amazing what can be achieved with a tailored education system and organized mass media.
Very good article. Did they mention Moreno?
Notice how that say that "Crist ran as an independent against Rubio and lost" when actually "Crist ran as an independent against Rubio [AND Kendrick Meek] and lost."
Funny how this story pits two Republicans against each other while no Democratic candidate or the party is anywhere to be seen. It's not the writer's fault. And it's true that Kendrick was happy with Fanjul money too. But the Florida Democratic Party is nowhere in this story and nowhere on this issue.
Or should I say, they're just nowhere?
