County Hall Bound. By Geniusofdespair

I am going to see what is up with the LED Billboards and the special taxing district (article in the Miami Herald today). It looks like Gimenez threw someone under the bus:

In a memo sent last week, Gimenez said the former director of the taxing-district division was “removed” and the agency reorganized. An audit is under way.

If the Former Director is Don Tok, he was in the drop program and had to leave, he was not removed. I hope he will consider speaking out about what really happened. Gimenez was elected to be the person to take the fall not blame his staff.  He always dodges the bullet by firing at someone else.

Anyway here is a very happy (painted with a peace-love design) car to look at while I drive in rush hour to County Hall to check out the circus.

If anything is happening I will post it here.

If Don Tok is subpoenaed by Chairman Monestine, he will spill the beans on the entire Special Taxing District rate scandal. Time to hold Gimenez to the fire. This slick Willie mayor has pulled off more last minute escapes than Houdini. If you want to laugh watch his shoulder parrot Mike Hernandez try to explain his way out of this one.

Pepe Diaz has been "persuaded" to put LED billboards all over the County. Shit on sticks.

From the inside,
Don Tock should not get all of the blame but he certainly deserves the majority. Those who were supposed to oversee him are at fault going back 10 years. He was allowed to run things completely unchecked. As much as we don't like Gimenez, he had nothing to do with this.
