Memo to Joe Carollo: Please run for county commission against Pepe Diaz ... by gimleteye

The feuding Manager and Mayor
According to this morning's Miami Herald, "Doral Mayor Luigi Boria says he made a mistake in hiring Joe Carollo to be city manager, wants to apologize to residents of his city for doing so and plans to ask the city council to fix his mistake by dismissing Carollo."

Really? You didn't perform due diligence before hiring the former mayor of Miami?

“I must admit that I was wrong in selecting Carollo,” Boria said in an interview. “Carollo has erratic behaviors that do not belong in a normal person, an administration professional. I ask all Doral residents and citizens to forgive me for having erroneously chosen this person."

Well, I don't know what planet Mayor Boria arrived here, from. But I do have some advice for Joe.

Joe, run for county commission. You can beat Pepe Diaz. Running against Diaz will give you a chance to redeem yourself and a greater platform to address the needs of the community. You can do it, Joe.

PLEASE!!!! Haven't we had enough of these clowns? Aren't there any potential good, intelligent and ethical potential candidates that we can vote into office?

So, you are encouraging the former spouse of Ana Alliegro (the Republican Gangsta Woman on the lam in Nicaragua), the same guy who was accused of domestic violence by his first wife, to run against Pepe Diaz? One postcard of Pepe with his wife and family celebrating their 25th anniversary would win that campaign.

Boria needs to apologize for his own behavior and for his illegal land deals (anyone with an IQ higher than their show size knows that Boria is the financier of "Tovar's" development.
