Why is County Commissioner Lynda Bell, of District 8, in CHINA with her aide Eddie (or as I like to call them, the toxic two)? According to the South Florida Business Journal:"The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce will host a mission to Hong Kong and Singapore in April, tapping into growing demand for business collaboration between the regions." And (the real reason):
"Singapore is included in the chamber’s mission because of the local activities of The Genting Group and its plans to build Resorts World Miami, Jacobson said."
Looks like the Church Lady, Lynda Bell, is going to check out gambling in China. The Hong Kong part is a diversion...so I am told. The real reason for the trip: GAMBLING in Singapore!!!! So Lynda Bell gave up lobbying for her District in Tallahassee during Dade Days to go to China to check out the Genting Resort in Singapore. Remember that County Commission District 8 residents! Audrey Edmonson has been MIA? Is she also on the Chamber of Commerce junket?

Do I get a prize for a calling this out in a comment on one of your posts last week about her campaign treasurer? I'd like Lynda Bell removed from office either by indictment, recall or just good old fashioned voted out. Great idea to pack this venue with Dist. 8 'Senior' over 55 which is a good chunk of people who despise this whatever she is. It's so typical for her to avoid her district issues as usual by not going to Tallahassee instead go on a lobbyist junket to China. Bird Flu for her also works for me as long as it keeps her in China!

I've said it before and I will now repeat myself. Stop whining and run against her. Yes she has a great machine going on. But it is only a machine. It can backfire and will if you let it. The most money didn't win last time. There are issues out there and they are all her fault. Start the work and she will lose. It's her turn to lose.
So what does the Christian Coalition think about going to China for gambling? She's getting her around the world tour on our dime. Just GREAT!

Mrs. Bell would never support gambling she is a Christian. I think she is in China to build good relations among the people of the world. Let's just try and hold the county down until she returns.

I will be moving out at the end of summer.
Because of Lyndas very personal relationships with FPL and the gambling industry we will never have a shake at legislative representation without lobbyist talking points coming out of her mouth.
