Friends of Everglades Hosts Dr. Hal Wanless. By Geniusofdespair



The public is invited to attend Friends of the Everglades' 44th annual meeting, April 14, 2013, 1:30 - 3:30 pm, in the Historic Entrance Building at Pinecrest Gardens,11000 Red Road. Before and after the meeting you can enjoy the Garden's Earth Day. Admission to the Garden is free.

Dr. Hal Wanless, Chairman of the Department of Geology at University of Miami, will present an update on climate change and sea level rise - what you may not want to hear, but ought to know. Dr. Wanless is one of the world’s leading experts on global sea level rise and climate impacts - don't miss it.
