Biscayne Times Rocks with Their Miami Casino Article. By Geniusofdespair

Photo I took in Las Vegas. Are we ready for Casino wars here in Miami?

Don't miss The Battle to Bring Casinos to Miami Didn't go Away, It just Went Underground.  Biscayne Times' Erik Bojnansky wrote:
“The reason Genting is concentrating on Florida is two-fold,” says John Kindt, a business professor at the University of Illinois and a fierce critic of casino gambling. “One, they think they can do it, that Florida will succumb to the onslaught of money they’re bringing to the table. The other reason is that Florida is a plum to be picked, with billions of dollars in tourist money that Genting can take out of the state forever.”
The article names supporters, lobbyists, funding, Pac's and identifies which politicians got money from Genting and other gambling interests. I am very interested to know where casino money is going. It is all there: A primer on the issue for beginners and political wonks alike. I am going to keep the link to this article for my own research in the future. And, you can bet on it,  there will be a future for the destination gambling issue, just ask Bojansky:
"With billions of dollars at stake, Genting and other casino operators will never give up."

You can thank the hypocrite scumbag Former Mayor of Miami Beach and "preservationist" Niesen Kasdin for representing these crooks and jamming this plan down the community's throat. Anything for a buck...traitor!

As far as I am concerned, they can't go underground far enough. We will really need to remain vigilant.

Yeah Kasdin not only represented the move the UDB syndicate, he also proved his worth to pro gambling forces by using fake data.

Casinos are already here. Magic city casino, gulf stream, hard rock , etc.... Question shouldn't be do we support casinos ? the question we should ask is why are we not participating in the revenue.wake up folks, casinos are HERE already. Frankly I prefer a large world class casino in downtown Miami versus a run down former flea market turned casino like Majic City which I drive by every morning on my way to work.

For all those out there who promote Casino gamblingy don't forget that the love of money is the root of all evil and decay of neighbor-hoods---corruption, homelessness, traffic congestion;--Atlantic City NJ is a good example of this moral decay.
We have enough of this deterioration in So. Fla already
