Two Candidates for Florida Legislature Offer $1000 Reward For Disclosing Information Leading To Absentee Ballot Conviction

Two state legislative candidates, Jeff Solomon and myself (Ross Hancock), have posted a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to conviction relating to absentee ballot fraud in our Miami-Dade districts. We will have a press conference at the Elections Department in Doral on Tuesday afternoon. A press release and reward poster are attached. A website has been set up for details on collecting the reward.

Thanks,

Ross Hancock

Two long-shot challengers looking for attention.

That's what long-shot candidates do. In this case, it's a two-fer, because I think this can help level the playing field a bit and help suppress illegal voting in two competitive districts. And in the course of doing so, reduce victimization of senior voters.

If a candidate can't afford to buy a seat, better they do a service to stimulate actions that serve the common good of the community. Is that not what public office and public service is about?

Ross, I hope you can get your message out there and that you have the chance to serve.

We are putting flyers and posters in senior facilities throughout southern Dade. This is not normal electioneering. We want people who care for and care about our seniors to be alert for vote theft. Violations can be reported via StopAbsenteeBallotAbuse.com. Districts 114 and 115 would surely have been won by both Obama and Sink if not for about one percent AB abuse.

This may be a very effective way to deter GOP enshrined corruption in Miami Dade and it very much deserves public attention!

The Dems are just as guilty as the Republicans. Solomon is so leftwing, he doesn't see it. When you are that clueless it's obvious that you will get embarrassed again on election night.

Is it ethical to call yourself a "doctor" when you are a chiropractor? Just asking.

You should extend offer to all districts in Miami Dade. I doubt Fressen and Bileca need AB abuse to win. Others in Dade might.

This was my prepared statement at the press conference today at the Elections Department, covered by CBS4, Telemundo, and two other channels:

For too long our elections in Miami-Dade have been corrupted by the buying and selling of stolen absentee ballots.

First of all, this is a crime that abuses our senior citizens. We are talking about seniors who fought in World War II, now having their votes stolen. We are talking about seniors who left everything behind in their countries of origin to breathe free in America, and now they are having their votes stolen.

Secondly, we now have judges and commissioners and legislators from Miami-Dade who are most likely in office due in part to this abuse of the system.

There is way too much money in Miami-Dade’s political campaigns, and whether the money comes from casino owners, Big Sugar, unions, or other special interests, it shouldn’t be used to buy absentee ballots.

Absentee ballot fraud is a problem that is not confined to Hialeah. Dr. Solomon and I are eager to keep this abuse out of our districts, so we will reward someone with a bounty if they will keep vigilant and report a violation that leads to a conviction.

The people who care for our seniors and care about our seniors are the front line against this crime. The $1000 reward is in place for State House Districts 114 and 115. We have been contacted by other candidates who are interested in expanding this program to increase the reward amount and the territory covered by it.

Information as it develops will be posted at www.StopAbsenteeBallotAbuse.com. That is also where you can find out how to report this crime if you witness it, and how to collect the reward.

Of course a chiropractor is a doctor.

Doctor is okay albeit a little misleading. Chiropractors are not medical doctors or physicians.

Chiropractors are not licensed to provide primary medical care, perform surgery, or write medical prescriptions.

Chiropractory = Quackery
I remember a tv expose on them. One of their favorite tricks is to measure your legs and tell you that one leg is slightly longer than the other. Different chiropractors will tell you different legs are longer. Don't waste your time going to one. It's a scam.

A doctor of psychology doesn't Despence medicine either. Don't split hairs. He has earned his degree and don't trash a whole profession based on a few bad eggs.

Actually most ignorant Polly and Kay chiropractors are licensed in the state of Florida as primary care physicians and administered by the Board of Chiropractic Medicine. Your lack of intellect is showing with your childish rhetoric.

Thanks Ross & Solomon for taking a lead on this enemy in our elections. A reward as you have offered may bring the culprits to serve time too.

Keep up the good work. You're on the right road to a seat.

Got three phone tips today but traced them all to one county commission campaign tattling on another.
