I finally got my home email devoid of unread messages. It is the first time in years. I just answered some messages from July. The Eyeonmiami email has 213 unread messages. Hope none of them were from you. Another email account I have I never open but I have thousands of unread emails in it. I get an email every day from some entities. Catalyst Miami, Rescue Miami, Arsht Center: Too many emails! If you don't offer free coupons in the subject line, I will never open them. I never open press releases that are attachments and I never download the pictures that come with your message.
If you send me more than one email a month...I stop opening them so the subject line had better be good. Everyone, work on doing killer subject lines. Take out the "Fwd" because that is toxic in a subject line. So is "You won!" Long subject lines are good. Gimleteye and I write a lot of our emails to each other in the subject line. I also like dates in the subject line if you are having an event.
Speaking of events there is one tomorrow.

I have over a thousand unread emails. It must be epidemic.
Person I deleted-- people that write get answered. Entities that send me 4 or 5 press releases a week get left in a pile. You don't get tongue in cheek, you are a first class putz.
