According to Jacksonville's Daily Record Ron Book's lobbying firm was among 4 making the most bucks in the second quarter of the year. Book reported over $1 million dollars of lobbying money. Overall, in this same quarter, lobbyists made over $53 million to lobby our Florida legislature. From the Daily Record:

Ron has mastered the art of holding his nose.
I can't help wonder how many conflicts of interests there are in that list.
He has cut back on his non-profit clients.

The Jack Abramof of Miami-Dade.
Ron Book was an owner of a billboard company which had illegal billboards in Miami-Dade County WHILE he was being paid by Miami-Dade County to be a lobbyist. Book was breaking the law. He had the nerve to act pissed off when he got caught.
Ron Book is creepy. He will set his mother on fire for a dollar. (She still alive?)
Ron Book is a walking talking "conflict of interest".
