A Florida Sprawl Development's Road to Foreclosure. By Geniusofdespair and Gimleteye
It is still relevant today as developers start gearing up for yet another round of sprawl developments like Lennar's Parkland. Also, Julio Robaina from Hialeah is an investor in this property.

What I think most of your readers probably don't live in deep South Dade where the most damage is being done to both our eco system and ag lands.
RTL Bell is now on Board with the develop at any cost to anyone as long as her developer pals can profit.
Look at the recent 8 1/2 sq mile which was really a do away with DERM. Last week, she had another doozy to do some type of Wetland study, which means that program will disappear.
I hate to sound so cynical, but at this point, I think we should just let the Cuban Mafia (my words) like Sergio Pino, Armando Guerra and the whole lot of them, buy everyone out and move the heck out of the most unlivable place in the County - Miami Dade County.
We have deep corruption issues and a State Attorney does nothing about it but goes after the small fries in the scheme, not the puppet masters who are the problem.
I'm sorry to be tired of fighting these moron's who come here with nothing and somehow win the development, pave over everything, destroy our natural resources and think it's okay. That's certainly NOT what the framer's intended, nor all those who fought for our freedom!
I'm sorry to go on about this but I'm just so angry about all of it. There are so few of us who fight these battles against bad policy and we're just so outnumbered and outspent.
Just a little note to remind that Miguel Diaz de la Portilla and Jose Cancela were registered lobbyists for Lennar's Parkland... and I'll bey anythimg, they still are! There's no doubt the "possey" is the devil incarnate!
I do believe this was TRULY your best post ever. Your information helped me start the process of ties between Julio Robaina and more large developers.. I must say thank you...
