The Petition to Stop Rick Scott is HERE! By Geniusofdespair

Yes it is registered with the State and yes I got it from a reliable  source. However, the sponsor Sons of Democracy (national group) is not a good group. If they are not on the level they could just collect your info and throw out the petitions. However, sometimes on petitions, your enemies are your friends. I don't like it yet. Hold your petitions until I ferret out what is going on. See post 5/15

Thank the lucky stars, someone has started a petition drive to put "RECALL" in our State constitution, like we have in our Miami Dade Charter.
Here is the link to the 2-page petition
. or hit on the images at left and print them from the new window, one at a time. When you print them make sure they are on one page, front and back.

This will be a 2 step process. The petition here puts the Recall in the Constitution on the 2012 ballot. Then we need a second petition to actually put the RECALL of Scott on the ballot. It will take time but isn't it worth it?
Here is the petition language:

This amendment to the State Constitution provides for recall of the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, any elected member of the Cabinet, or any legislator. The recall process is initiated when a petition containing the name of the person to be recalled is delivered to the chief election officer of the state. When a sufficient number of signatures are obtained, a recall election is held to determine whether or not to recall the state official.

What are you waiting for? Get these suckers signed.

If it is this climate change is a hoax/anti Obama site what better way to collect names signatures and emails of people they can then target.

Thanks for the heads up. I looked up the two men and the group. I admit I was caught up in the thrill of perhaps getting rid of Scott. I am holding off the petition with this warning:

Maybe they knew it was coming and they wanted to confuse the issue. But the treasurer might be a teacher -- Matthew Susin from the Space Coast. Again, let's wait and see.

It appears to be on the level --- not connected to other group.

You don't think that Mike Huckabee could be considering a run for Gov? He bought a place down here and is making oodles of bucks. He just said he's not running for Pres. in 2012. Do you think he could be the GOP ace in the hole if Scott pisses off too many Republicans? I am just wondering.
