Did any of these candidates support Alvarez & Seijas remaining in office? As in No to recall. Rumor is Lampert, friend of Alvarez, lobbied for him to stay in office by sending a mass email to his contacts. If so, what is he thinking? We're stupid? Someone should ask him and others directly. Tomorrow's debate sounds like the best place to start. We are not going to vote for like minded individuals after working so hard to remove Alvarez & Seijas.

Why are you focusing on Lampert? He doesn't have a chance in hell. There are only 4 candidates with a chance at becoming Mayor, and they all have a Hispanic last name.

I have been following some of the candidates and will submit questions. Not one of them has EARNED my vote. Not yet, maybe they will in the next 30 days.

There is one candidate who I believe Hell will have to freeze over a few times before I would consider him - Hialeah "Pinocchio" Julio - not a chance.

Because I'm undecided as to the rest of them, and am one of those dreaded Independent voters, I may actually not vote for any of them.

This race is reminding me of Scott/Sink. I could not support Scott, but Sink just lost me and my vote. The same with my local SR race. Both of the candidates were bad, one worse than the other, I didn't vote for either.

I agree that Lampert has no chance, but transparency is always a good thing. I welcome the information. You never know if he'll show up again running for some other office. thanks ZZ for info.
