Robert Is Here fruit stand is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Robert Moehling (pictured) has been running the stand, which sells unique fruits and delicious fresh fruit smoothies, since he was 6 years old.
The fruit stand is in unincorporated Miami Dade near Homestead, about 10 miles from Everglades National Park. If you haven't been there you are missing out on some good eats. I have never been there and not seen Robert.

This is a great place, and down the street is Everglades outpost.
It's not in Homestead, it's in unincorporated Miami Dade, closer to Florida City, south of SW 344th St.
Robert has recovered from Andrew and the efforts to close him down a few years ago. It is a tourist stop, with zoo, shakes, antique vehicles, lots of veggies, live music and fruit, preserves, etc., etc. most of which are priced very high and are not local produce.
