Linda decided to run because she is inspired by the current presidential primary. She saw that commissioners were running unopposed and didn’t think that was good for the Community especially when she read about all the problems in the County. She believes the country is in the mood for change and that Miami Dade County is also in the mood for change. She said, “I care about people’s concerns and I believe I can make a difference in Miami Dade County.” She is a full time single mom to a 10 year old, and works part time as a courier for FedEx. This woman is no dummy, she has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and she is very well-spoken.
“I know I will work hard to address the concerns of the constituents, because I will be a candidate of the people, I am the candidate with a heart” she told me.
Linda Stephens is a “young” middle aged woman who rides her bike to work. I asked her why, she said because mass transit is too expensive. We briefly discussed the Sales Tax increase being considered for the ballot by the Commissioners today. She was surprised Jordan was supporting that.
I am endorsing her, better than Jordan. A real, genuine human being. Watch out Barbara Jordan. This woman has heart, something you are missing.

Nor are any of the the thieves that sit on the county commission. We need honesty more than we need poli-sci degrees.

YOU WRITE A BLOG OR ARTICLE CALLING FOR ALL THE NEW CANDIDATES TO HOLD A MEETING IN PERSON. AT THIS MEETING THEY CAN ALL HELP EACHOTHER WITH EACHOTHERS RESOURCES. THEY EACH CAN OFFER MUCH MORE THAN JUST SUPPORT TO THE NEXT CANDIDATE.
A COALITION WILL BE FORMED AND THEN THE MIAMI HERALD WILL FOLLOW.
THIS "TEAM" WILL BE MUCH MORE SUCCESFUL AS A TEAM THAN A SINGLE NEW CANDIDATE.
DO THIS AND INCUMBENTS WILL FALL.
FIND OUT WHICH OF THE CANDIDATES ARE WILLING...
