ONE THOUSAND DAYS...Where is that Democratic Candidate for President? By Geniusofdespair

Why don't we have a Democratic Candidate for President yet? Really, this is taking too long. We need someone to rally around. Someone to be stumping their way across this stupid country, land of whatever it is now. If we don't get it together soon add 4 more years of agony with Trump.  You're never going to change the Christian Right. They don't even pay attention to Jesus so they won't pay attention to you.

As the Democrats dick around as only they can, you need to prepare now as you know they will pick out some creepy candidate and we need to counteract that.  YOU MUST MOVE. Here are some suggested places. We don't need more voters people, we need more voters in the RIGHT PLACES.

Many of you retirees, find out the residency requirement, rent your house and move to one of the States that matter.  The problem in the last election: Trump got too many States.  Many of the young people in these States are brainwashed. So move your damn ass to a purple state.  Here is a map on how the States went in the last election we need to pick up a red one and not lose a blue one:

WE NEED PEOPLE IN BLUE STATES TO MOVE TO
FLORIDA OR PENNSYLVANIA FOR SURE.

Here is some helpful information on being able to vote in Florida, think about going homeless it is in the Country's best interest:

How the country went in the last election. Florida is a good bet. Maybe Michigan can be turned?

New York Residents: Have your kids move in with Grandma in Florida.

The bottom line is that is it every citizens responsibility to vote. The more people who vote, the better for our county and democracy. Hopefully, more people will register and vote to help promote candidates that vote for our best interests. Currently, elected politicians often vote against our best interests. Examples are the new tax law that gives tax break to the very wealthy and corporations, and a small bone to the working class that disappears in several years. Other examples are allowing more pollution in the air, in ground water, etc. Removing people from being able to afford health insurance, medicine, and doctor relationships.
Without standing up to current politicians and removing them from office, more detrimental laws and regulations will continue to happen.Remember, many laws are written by lobbyists, corporate insiders, lawyers, and connected insiders who don't care about the common good, just bottom line profits.

Fuck that, reader we need people to move not just vote...we have the electoral college to deal with in this next presidential election and those religious nuts are winning the war.

With all the new Puerto Rican’s living in Florida, if it doesn’t flip, that’s a huge failure.

The last map is sickening with its red sprawl.
However, most blue clusters are in higher density areas, with more divers news channel's, education and employment.
Where as red prevails in predominant rural areas, the forgotten America, with it's toxic media channels.

When traveling by car, I always make it a point, to listen trough the local radio channels on the way. Kind of gives you a insight in to the mental health of the patient. Especially after midnight. It will blow your mind.

Sooo, I see the problem as a mater of education, by and large.
Even public radio is extreme tilted in some of those red bastions. Apparently the sponsors like it that way.

So I googled "leading dem presidential candidates." First story that popped up was from WaPo (goo.gl/c2E9X1). I omitted the commentary from the article. You can read it yourself.

Let's unpack this list shall we?

15. Dwayne Johnson (Previous ranking: N/A)

NO

14. Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (Previous: N/A)

Maybe

13. Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz (Previous: 11)

NO

12. Former Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick (Previous: 12)

Maybe

11. Oprah Winfrey (Previous: 11)

Maybe

10. New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (Previous: 9)

NO

9. Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown (Previous: 10)

I like Sherrod. He may be a little too rough around the edges though.

8. California Gov. Jerry Brown (Previous: 5)

Like Jerry. Too old.

7. Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy (Previous: 3)

Maybe

6. New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker (Previous: 8)

Like Booker. He has taken sugar money though. Had a big fundraiser on the M/V Azucar a few years ago.

5. California Sen. Kamala D. Harris (Previous: 7)

Something makes me suspicious about Harris being a DINO.

4. New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (Previous: 6)

NO

3. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Previous: 4)

The rightie news will attack her based on the Pocahontas reference. A viable candidate but not sure she can swing purple voters on the fence.

2. Former vice president Joe Biden (Previous: 2)

Love Joe. But please, too old.

1. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (Previous: 1)

The righties will kill him with the socialist tag. Sorry Bernie. Also see above about Joe. Love what you do Bern but it's over. Stay in the Senate.
