Any opinions? I registered to vote, but I need some help. Don't like the "dark money", but we really need to win back Florida from the Koch Bros. and Big Sugar. I do like a more progressive and grassroots movement. From your video, I'm assuming you're not happy with Mr. Moneybags.

I think we should think about Levine, Book, Korge, Duran, Murphy the Dino, yes Money opens too many doors especially to lobbyist spawns who have nothing to qualify them except money.

Trump is Putin's lapboy according to intelligence officials today. Forget Florida Democrats, time to save America.

I am not going to forget Florida Democrats. Our state is a mess after these 6 years of Rick Scott. We can't swim in our waters, we're moving towards not being able to drink our water, and Climate Change is a bad word in Tallahassee. We need to take our state back from big money and it all starts at the meeting on Dec. 20th. No more lackluster candidates, no selling out to back room money. We want our party to be progressive. Get rid of people like DWS. Get rid of people who's names showed up in the hacked DNC emails, like the rich guy that wants to take over the party. If we want to take our country back, we have to take our state back first!

Rich Republicans (Braman, etc.) give to the party and the candidates. They don't take over the party. Nothing wrong with hiring a good coordinator to help the head.

The Democratic Party has been well-financed and maintained a smart edge through data analytics, but failed to connect with the people in swing states. We do not need wealthy leaders, we need leaders who resonate with people and convince them to follow. Does it really make sense to clear a path for a money-man to lead us out of the woods? twiddle-diddle-diddle-dee....

To the last poster who said we need leaders who resnlate with the people and convince them to follow, that also will lose voters.

It is simple, listen to the voters...nothing else.

So long as Dem leaders support Republican nice sounding extreme agendas, there can be no clawing back to Dem leadership.
Also, so long as Dems follow a to expensive social agenda, they will not be success full.

In the end, we are here at this point, because of a inability and unwillingness to take on the crimes of a previous administration, (Busch the lesser) in witch the Dems where complicit.

The wisdom of the crowd was to trow out the devil, and replace it with Beelzebub. Go figure.

FYI,,,Bullard has taken Big Sugar money and will not sign the Bullsugar pledge. Bittel, Bullsugar believes, has not taken any Big Sugar money but has not signed the pledge as of yet. Bullsugar thinks he might, though, if encouraged.

Stephen Bittel spoke at the Downtown Dems last night...he does resonate with people and makes a great case for applying his executive experience to organizing a robust Democratic Party. He stressed the importance of a statewide effort to build party infrastructure at the local level, including in four counties that currently do not even have a party presence. He is an organization man, which is what the Dems truly need. He has not been a candidate for public office - but he spoke firmly about his commitment to the social causes that define Democrats. His passion and commitment, and executive skills, are what is needed for the Party in Florida. I hope the local party provides him an opportunity on Tuesday to offer his services to the Florida Party.

We are going to have to change the way we think about leadership. We need a lot of leaders. One leader is not up to the magnitude of the challenge. For example to head the party at the national level we need everyone who wants to be chair, to be chair of whatever they are good at. The idea that one person gets it, any everyone else goes home and watches him, are over. We need all hands on deck. Democrats kill off each other in their quest for power, and when we look around very few who can deliver are standing.

Yesterday Trump thanked the Black community for not showing up at the polls. Truth is Clinton never invested in Black media, or funded real ground games in those communities. When Bill Clinton ran, he funded everyone who could deliver two votes. Had five or six different ground games going in each community. Rides to the polls, door to door canvassing, street sign holders, brought up all Black radio commercial time, had churches lined up, as a matter of fact, you could not move in the Black community without running into Clinton paid workers. But with Hillary, nothing. I am sure people told their campaign what to do, surely Bill did. But for some reason they didn't listen, and did not fund operations in the Black community. They simply looked at the 99% support level and assumed they would all turn out at the polls. But Bill certainly knew differently.

So let's not get stuck on one anything. We need everyone on board, and we need to fund all strategies.

I'm one of the 12/20 voters. I thank you for covering this as it adds to the information that I've collected in the Miami Herald, Naked Politics blog, Tampa Tribune.
