Open Letter To The Electoral College. Guest Blog By GraspingatStraws

To the Electoral College,

When you vote on Monday for the President of the United States of America, do the right thing: Go Rogue and Toss Trump.

Don’t vote for the bully, the misogynist, the one who makes fun of disabled people. Don’t vote for the one who can’t laugh at himself and instead, chooses to rant on Twitter in the early morning hours at enemies who just happen to disagree with him.

Don’t vote for the one who is setting up a cabinet made of millionaires and billionaires, the one whose cabinet will be made up of the least educated people in recent years. Don’t vote for the one who campaigned on “draining the swamp,” but instead is choosing people who are filling the swamp to make an ocean.

Don’t vote for the one who chose a vice president that believes that conversion therapy will “cure” gay people and abortion should be abolished even in the event of rape.

Don’t vote for the one who choose a Secretary of Treasury that was the chief information officer at Goldman Sachs, a Secretary of Energy who wanted to abolish the department when running for president, a Labor Secretary who won’t raise the minimum wage, a National Security Advisor who disclosed classified information to foreign officials without proper authorization, and a Secretary of State with strong ties to Russia.

Don’t vote for the one who asked the Department of Energy for a list of government employees who worked on climate change and whose head of the Environmental Protection Agency doesn’t believe in climate change.

Don’t vote for the one who hasn’t paid income taxes and won’t release his tax returns. What is he hiding?

Read transcripts of the debates and his press conferences. Don’t vote for the one who can’t answer a question or string a couple of sentences together that make sense.

There are many, many more reasons not to vote for this person. Don’t be a part of destroying our country. There is still time to avoid a disaster. You have the power. Do the right thing: Dump Trump.

Wish it could happen, but it won't.

Duh, then the vote goes to the Republican Legislature, who will vote for Trump.

These whack jobs are beyond idiocy.

The problem is that these electors are the very voters who promoted him and voted for him despite all of the damning evidence prior to the election. It's impossible for me to believe in them. So I'm thinking the worst and will be happily shocked if any of them brave the threat of violence to break ranks.
