What You Should Know About RANDY PERKINS Running for Congress. By Geniusofdespair

Randy Perkins is running as a Democrat for Congress in the 18th District. Is he a DINO -- a Democrat in Name Only?

Turns out that Randy Perkins seems to be a Republican who might be working with Ken Pruitt's machine pretending to be a Democrat to get elected to congress in a District hard hit by the Algae Pollution, and thus, turned off to the Republicans that support the bad water policies. A guy who got rich off of cleaning up pollution tragedies. My friend said Perkins gave $200,000 to Elect Republican Rick Scott. Cannot find the info on line. But I did find this in the Palm Beach Post:
Perkins’ disaster recovery business, AshBritt Inc., gave $100,000 to Scott’s Let’s Get To Work committee in August 2010 while Scott was battling Bill McCollum for the Republican gubernatorial nomination. The contributor was misspelled as “Ashbitt” in a Division of Elections filing.

AshBritt also helped Scott by giving $100,000 in October 2010 to the Republican Governors Association Florida PAC.
The company has hired  over 36 different lobbyists over the past 10 years.

My friend in Martin County said Randy has a ton of momentum in District 18: He added: "I woke up in the middle of the night thinking we will have 10 more lost summers of toxic algae if he gets in."  "The big sugar politicians are pretending to be democrats this year.   Maybe you can expose his donations to Rick Scott's campaign.  People need to know!"

Perkins is one of the initial members of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's Red to Blue Program. The program "highlights top Democratic campaigns across the country, and offers them financial, communications, grassroots, and strategic support.

AshBritt has made 57 contributions totaling $596,750 according to Follow the Money, a very hard website to navigate. I found this there.

This candidate - Randy Perkins - needs some opposition research quickly! When they self fund, you really can't tell where they stand.

Perkins is pouring the bullshit on thick pretending to be a Democrat. Anyone who gave money to elect Rick Scott will not get my vote. There was hope for clean water until Scott, Ken Pruitt and other Big Sugar politicians got involved and put the kabbash on buying the land to send the water south.
