Marco Rubio on Climate Change. By Geniusofdespair

Quote: "The Climate is Always Changing"
Me: Good answer. LOL

As coastal cities are raising sidewalks, roads, new municipal buildings, infrastructure, etc. Rubio continues not to address the problem.  He averts his eyes -- as if his home county was a decaying bird on the sidewalk, or as if the future of his children didn't matter. His stubborn denial is because he doesn't want to hurt business. Can business be conducted underwater?  You can just pump so much water out of flooding hoods, and pump so much sand in to create beaches...soon the pumping will be over.

Cities doing all the raising: What about the homes? What are the people in those homes going to do, live in water craters created by the raising of everything around them? If you have to step up to the sidewalk and road, then you have to step down to your home which will be in a gully. News Flash: Their fixes will make it worse for you. Enter your address for a FEMA Map.

Most of Miami-Dade County is at an elevation of 1.5 meter or less. Most of the coast is at 1/2 meter.

I hope he knows better privately. Because if he really believes the bs he said last night about climate change he is not so bright.

What's even scarier is all the applause he got for saying the weather is always changing and even questioning whether sea level rise us happening (he said miami is flooding because it was built in a swamp). Who are those idiots in the audience? I hope they aren't UM students.

So if it is built in a swamp as he said does that mean you should let all the people float out to sea? Some concern and empathy for the people of his own county would be appreciated... Not denial.

Climate change, of course, is real. It is Little Marco that is fraudulent.

...and Tomas Regalato, Mayor of the City of Miami is endorsing Rubio.

The local media is clearly in the bag for Marco. Evidence was Michael Putney acting bewildered about who is paying for an anti John Kasich ad when it said it was paid for by Conservative Solutions PAC who is backing Rubio.

If Miami was built in a swamp (which it was) and that is the cause of flooding why was Marcolito representing builders wanting to build on the edge of the Everglades? He is not bright or honest and will concoct any story to fit his agenda (We print all the news that fits).

Marco is just another slimy politician who will do or say anything to benefit his political agenda and his fundraisers.

Speaking of fundraisers, Marco pandered his way down to the Ocean Reef Club last night to collect money from the GOP snowbirds there. Great audience for him since they don't know of his weak record as a FL legislator and US Senator.
