Thank you for posting this. It's encouraging to hear a local talented professional sum up civic engagement in a nutshell. At 8:33 he said the Ludlum Trail neighbors were mailed a notice about development of town homes on the acreage "This is a public hearing to approve a plan, not a public hearing to devise a plan." THAT'S key. THAT's local government's modus operandi. Citizens learn about projects when the media pays attention at the 11th hour. Only paid lobbyists can keep track all of the municipal and county projects.
