Saturday Free for All. By Geniusofdespair

What is free: For you to discuss any topic on your mind (not about me). Reach a larger audience with your message on Eye on Miami. You cannot accuse someone of a crime but pretty much, you are free to discuss what you would like. Again -- no vendettas. I don't enjoy reading Hatfield and McCoy type feuds.

You can tell us about your event coming up, your family, your campaign, plug your business...go ahead.

Every time I read about the two nukes in the Miami Herald slated for Turkey Point, I look up Fukushima. THE DISASTER IS STILL GOING ON AFTER 4 YEARS. This is from Reuters Dec. 3rd:

PORTLAND, Ore. (Reuters) - Radiation from Japan's 2011 nuclear disaster has spread off North American shores and contamination is increasing at previously identified sites, although levels are still too low to threaten human or ocean life, scientists said on Thursday.

Tests of hundreds of samples of Pacific Ocean water confirmed that Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant continues to leak radioactive isotopes more than four years after its meltdown, said Ken Buesseler, marine radiochemist with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

You wrote yesterday that we are paying FPL for fracking - 500 million. If it is not legal in Florida how could we be paying for it?

I don't know. This is from the article: The Florida Public Service Commission sided with FPL and against consumer advocates and unanimously approved guidelines that give the company carte blanche approval to charge its customers for natural gas fracking and “wildcatting” activities without oversight from regulators for the next five years.

The decision gives the state largest utility company unprecedented permission to use ratepayer dollars to finance an energy exploration and production business. According to an analysis by the PSC’s staff, FPL will be the first utility in the nation to be allowed to use ratepayer money for such an “non-regulated risk.”

The "Fracking" that FPL's consumers are paying for is in Oklahoma not Florida. This was a gift that Slick Rick's appointments to the PSC gave to FPL to improve their bottom line. But the dumbass Floriduhnians reelected that crook.

The bigger story is the latest on KFR on http://www.crespogram.com
Make sure you read parts 2 and 3 as well

Way to go Al!

Hello Friends and Neighbors,

Together with the South Florida Water Management District we have scheduled two volunteer workdays on Saturday and Sunday 12/12 &13. We will meet at SW 184 ST east of Old Cutler Rd. with parking along 184 St. Start time is 9:00 AM until around 1:30 PM.

We will plant wetland and pine rockland plants, pull invasive weeds, add new mulch, as well as other opportunities to improve the lands and learn about restoration.

Water and work tools will be provided, except for work gloves. Please bring a snack and a preferred drink if you like. Sunscreen and bug repellent are advised.

Past volunteer work days have been a great success and the restored wetlands would not be in the great shape they are without the help of so many of you.

Please reply that you will attend so we may plan for the amount of resources needed.

You may also join this event on Facebook on the Livablecutler Community page at

https://www.facebook.com/livablecutler/

Look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you from Livablecutler.
