Lots and Lots of Money Will Be Needed Soon As Sea Level Rises. By Geniusofdespair

Infrastructure improvements identified by SFWMD that need to be addressed to deal with modest sea level rise.

Is it any wonder that Governor Rick Scott is in denial on sea level rise?

This highlights the most obvious first-steps to combat sea level rise. Let's get to work on the projects that have been identified by the South Florida Water Management District - our flood control agency! If they know which facilities need an immediate upgrade, let's make it a legislative priority that the Legislature allocate money to make it happen. Or, just give the Governor a push to allow the SFWMD to adjust its millage to fund the capital program. Per household, we pay about $15 to the SFWMD - and they are the only agency standing between your home and standing water.

Look at all the projects directly on the Bay-Ocean.

If these are wealthy Libertarian leaning GOP voting climate disruption denying clowns as I suspect...
let them go underwater. They certainly would not support money to save the homes of minorities and the poor.
