Reading the NEWLY DESIGNED Miami Herald This Morning. By Geniusofdespair

I opened my newspaper this morning and it was insightful, not splashed with color and loaded with news. I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, it was not my subscription to the Miami Herald that I got, they delivered the New York Times by mistake. Still no Miami Herald (9:30am).

I wouldn't subscribe to the Herald, even if it were free.

It is even worse than it was before. Now it's bad and very reader unfriendly design.

When the Herald's delivery system fails, as it has numerous times with my vacation alerts, as well as normal daily delivery days, they will no longer re-deliver on the same day. Either get it tomorrow or get a credit. Who needs day-old news.

Hate the new format, it's way too busy. No separate local news section.
As to delivery, I go outside in the morning, not to get the paper but to see if it was even delivered. It's often late, especially on Sundays. A relative left on vacation a week ago and despite the vacation hold, her paper has been delivered every day. Multiple calls have not helped.
