Michael Pizzi: He's Back At the Helm in Miami Lakes! By Geniusofdespair

Former and NOW Current Mayor of Miami Lakes: Michael Pizzi

MAYOR PIZZI DECLARED RIGHTFUL MAYOR OF MIAMI LAKES; PREPARING TO RESUME OFFICE OF MAYOR

Tuesday, Circuit Judge Cardonne Ely declared the Mayor Michael Pizzi is the rightful Mayor of the Town of Miami Lakes and is entitled to resume the Office of Mayor. through November 2016.  UNLESS...there is another appeal (judge left 30 days for that).

Validating Mayor Pizzi’s principled stance in favor of democracy and the rule of law, Circuit Judge Cardonne agreed with Mayor Pizzi’s legal team that he is entitled “to perform all official acts, duties or functions of the office of Mayor of Miami lakes immediately ...” Mayor Pizzi’s lawyers, Ben Kuehne, Ed Shohat, Ralf Rodriguez, David Reiner, Kent Harrison Robbins, Michael T Davis, and Josh Young, applaud Circuit Judge Cardonne Ely for her adherence to legal precedent and the will of the voters of Miami Lakes, who overwhelmingly elected Mayor Pizzi to lead the Town until the November 2016 election.

Mayor Pizzi Said:
“This is a time for Unity and Joy, at this special time of year when many members of our community are preparing to join with their friends and family to celebrate the joy of freedom and justice at Passover and Easter, we should embrace this decision that allows all of us to look forward.”

The town imof Miami Lakes/Mayor Wayne Slaton said they will appeal. What do they have to lose: Mega tax dollars.

Awesome Michael! It was inevitable!

Wayne Slaton should now be forced to pay the city back every penny he wasted trying to steal Pizzi's office.

Thank Ben Kuhne, the two lackeys from the pool hall who lied under oath to get Pizzi off and the keystone cop FBI agents for failing to lock up Pizzi for good. Great system we have in this country! Can't wait 'til 2016 to vote Pizzi out of office!

Pizzi took cash? While he was in a closet? Got off?

He's such a gross individual. Reminds me of a lower class Donald Trump. A total blowhard without the Donald's 14K gold-plate veneer.

At least the facade of "normal" is off of this guy.

He was acquitted, blame the agents who set Pizzi up, the laws, Judges, Jury. Finally blame the system that makes exchange of unlimited money for influence perfectly legal.... What is legal now was illegal two decades ago, remember the Clinton fund raising mess in the 90's.

It's painful to watch the waste of money, on all sides of this issue. To be clear, the law is with Mayor Pizzi. Suspended and acquittal all prior to November, 2016. He takes back the gavel. As for Mayor Slaton, no doubt he should have streets and buildings named for him because of his service and dedication to Miami Lakes, HOWEVER, his October , 2013 election was permanent replacement against ALL,, EXCEPT, Mayor Pizzi. Two dedicated men. They can fight it out again in 2016, but this seat belongs to Pizzi. At $12,000 a month and fees for his firm, the Town attorney has a lot to lose. Think about it.....the council members are in the middle--but no fear, once it's all over they can all tell Mayor Pizzi, it wasn't personal, it was business.....

Yeah for Mayor Pizzi. Thank You Ben Kuhene and all the Attorneys who helped in any way. The System Works for the Innocent. The other side has lost because they were just plain wrong, get over it!
