This is not a good thing. Manatees should not feel so safe around people and boats. It does show how smart they are. Smarter than a lot of the Homestead voting public.

When the homeowner decides they don't like a large water bill, they stop putting the hose into the water. They forget that they have trained this gentle, wild animal to rely on humans. Do gooders doing very bad.
FWC has pursued charges against people based on these types of videos.
I guess the manatee knows the water he is swimming in is poisoned. He is smarter than a lot of humans.
