Stupid? Yes. By Geniusofdespair

Linda Bell's daughter Jenna Mendez has filed a civil suit against the Sweetwater Police Department August 20, 6 days before the election. Timing is terrific don't you think? A family full of lawsuit filers. Does her mother know about this? She couldn't wait a week? Bartender turned arrested and fired police officer to k9 police officer  (thanks to Bell's connections) is daffy in my opinion to do this so close to the election.
Portion of suit....

For what reason? Do you have any more info?

Yes I have the suit. Something about not being reimbursed sufficiently for the care of the dogs At her mom's home.

The City of Sweetwater may ask Jenna to reimburse them for the flowers she received, paid for with an official city credit card. I guarantee you the current administration will gladly and quickly respond to a public records request. The former Mayor was such a romantic...

Why does the public and District 8 in particular have to keep putting up with this sort of inferior character of the Bell clan? Isn't District 8 tired of all this mess?

It only serves to drag down the District that our commissioner attracts this type of issue time and time again.

When will it end? Don't you think we should at least put this to an end by voting Lynda Bell out of office?

Enough is enough.

A Bell staffer or supporter recently blogged that they tied by enough AB votes to win.

Bartender to K-9 officer? What are you implying? I know that you hate Bell, but what do you have against bartenders? It's really not that easy of a job.

If they really have that manyAbsentee Ballots it's because KFR won't let the police department make the arrests of Bell's people involved. As if the police ever needed their permission to arrest on Probable Cause. We get weaker by the day in this third world community

Werent they keeping the dogs outside in a yard filled with garbage? How much money could they possibly be demanding for that?

Lawsuit? If this happened while she was/is an employee/police officer, shouldn't it be a grievance and covered by union contract?

Can you post the suit? I just did a public recorder search and the only thing I can find is a corrective deed from July of this year.

Under Garcia v. San Antonio she will most likely be awarded between $40,000-$80,000.
The Sweetwater administration is in the stone age. Lean forward Menatards. They violated the FLSA.

Honey Boo Boo wins reality TV show in Sweetwater!

Bell will win by a small margin. But she will win.
She takes care if her district. She is responsive to her constituents. Voters pay no attention to what her family does.

Daniella would be great not just for the district but for the county as well

Bell raised massive money from County vendors, County contractors, land use attorneys, strip miners, low lifes...

Actually, they're very "HIGH-lifes"...

Bell staffer does not know anything about absentee ballot count. We know how many there are but not who they voted for. Maybe she has E S P?

Bell is down by a few hounded A/B votes and is lousing 2 to 1 in early voting,,,I hope Mark is up for a long night of screaming. BELL is done sorry wayne

Even the timing of the renaming of a local park for Bella isn't helping Lynda gain votes.

Channel 10 TV and Glenna Milberg nailed that story. 60 politicians and government staffers all "on the clock" getting free TV time? Free PR for incumbents running for election? So obvious.

Just an FYI: It also looks like the rock miners are winning.

As of June 1, 2014, they closed the "County Line Dragway" to use as a future rock mining site. Thanks Bell!!
