Lynda Bell Needs Everybody's Money and here is why. By Stephen Cody Guest Blog

Yikes, there you go again. First off, I would like to make a point that it's a free country and people may/should be able to give money to whomever they please,(in this context), it does not mean that the elected official is obligated to do something for them, they can just take the money and say thank you. Next, if you look at DLC's campaign reports collectively, you will find that Ms.Cava has received exactly $62,315.42 from lawyers, the cents comes from the $20.14 donations,(2014); like how Annette Taddeo's congressional campaign asked for $20.09 donations since 2009 would be the year she would've taken office, had she won. You know, I don't think it's so bad to get money from lawyers, I'm just proving that my friends here are being extremely hypocritical. Mr.Cody himself WAS a lawyer, until he was DISBARRED. This amount does not include money from the other paralegals, judges, mediators & arbitrators, and legal assistants I found on her reports. If you do the math, you will find that the amount given comes out to around 23% of Ms.Cava's total contributions, which is more than 1/5 ! Also, I am not sure which lawyers have put money into her PACs, ECOs, or committees, if DLC has them. For my last remark, the $686,000 that has been contributed to Ms.Bell does include money from average joes and other such people, not just developers, lawyers, and lobbyists.

Another "Blast" from "gun-for-hire" Cody. Voters need to know a little additional information about ousted and recalled former Commissioner Natasha Seijas' lapdog.

Stephen Michael Cody - suspended for one year, effective 30 days from an Aug. 20 court order. Cody shall also pay restitution of more than $13,000 to a former client. (Admitted to practice: 1981) Cody was the subject of two Bar disciplinary matters and a contempt case. In one instance, Cody failed to inform a client of the Court’s order regarding attorney’s fees and costs and failed to communicate with the client regarding all subsequent matters in the case. Cody was charged with two counts of Uttering a Worthless Check by the State Attorney’s Office for the 11th Judicial Circuit. Cody also failed to contact the Bar's Law Office Management and Assistance Service within the required time to schedule an office procedures and record keeping analysis. (Case No. SC12-1073).

Daniella, if this is the company you keep, you're no different than ANY other power-hungry politician.

Go back to New York or Chicago where dirty politics IS a virtue!

Thanks Bell camp, you can't trash Daniella so you are trying to trash Cody?

Cody was not disbarred, he has nothing to do with Daniella except he supports her. Everyone can have an epiphany on this blog and they are welcome into my fold. Pepe Diaz might be having one FINALLY if I could understand what he was saying at the meeting Thursday. I find his lampoons totally amusing and think that campaign contributors, legal or not, should be called out ESPECIALLY WAYNE ROSEN who gave Lynda's campaign at least $23,000 and Lynda was recommending him for a $5,000,000 GOB grant Thursday. what crap. Thank you Stephen Cody and congrats on your epiphany.

I liked the video. Have a little sense of humor this video isn't a history book.

If you look at both campaign reports, Lynda has hardly any donations under $250. Almost all Daniella Levine's donations are from private people and they are under $250.

Best video I have seen in a long time! And so true!

That woman has no friends and she is despised in Homestead and Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay...Get rid of her people!

Volunteers? What volunteers? She has to pay lobbyist and special interest money for everyone who works on her campaign.

She is the biggest disgrace on the BCC...just a big joke!

Stephen keep the videos coming. Lynda Bell is a horrible human being.

When I leave home I want to wear a sack over my head because I live in Lynda Bell's District.

Daniella will bring a wholesome and a wonderful feeling that we once had in district 8 about politics and good governing to the BCC. Vote Daniella Levine Cava on August 26 and let's not forget vote absentee ballot if you plan on being on vacation. Vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the time honored tradition of bell and her barely literate trailer trash supporters we get "Yankee go home" and race-baiting.

Proud 'Murricans.

Not disbarred. Just in the penalty box until September. (And by the way, Sandy D'Alemberte, the former President of the Florida Bar and President of FSU, regularly presented Republicans or others you might consider as scalawags. I know Sandy very well. He sleeps fine. So too for my friend and mentor, the late Bill Sadowski. He was known to represent a conservative Republican from time to time. It's what lawyers do.) In the meantime, I'm exploring other things during my sabbatical and working on recovering more of my vision. And I'm glad that I've touched a nerve with so many Bell supporters, albeit ones without the courage to sign their own names.

what scares me is that all this money, combined with the weird date of the election (late August) could allow Comm. Bell to steal ANOTHER election with absentee ballots. And we know there's NO fraud in those, right? Hope the word gets out on the date and voters with a conscience mobilize to offset the ABs...

Actually, word of mouth is worth so much more than any war chest. You'll see that in action Mayor Gimenez. I plan to have you drain your lobbyist booty on a failed election.

Recommendations from friends and trusted community members turns opinions.

Talk about this race to everyone...keep it interesting and stress that Tuesday, August 26th is a special day. First Bell than Gimenez.
