Especially if you live in district 8 and expect to be away election day, here is all the information on Absentee Ballots. You can get one delivered to your vacation home.

Both of us have enthusiastically endorsed Daniella Levine Cava for County Commissioner in Miami Dade County District 8. The Sierra Club has endorsed Daniella Levine Cava and Clean Water Fund.

Great Information. Thank you G.O.D.

I urge everyone to keep this info and make sure you are prepared to vote for Daniella on August 26.

Note the following:

"As volunteers, you are amongst the select few that will hear the great news first. Not only are we QUALIFIED but.. drum roll please.. YARD SIGNS ARE IN!

We are in need of distributors/ neighborhood captains that will place the signs in the yards of people who’ve said they want one. The yard signs are ready to go and divided by about 30 homes. Please help us and become part of our set up team and respond today!

Also as a reminder, it is never too late to join the fun! Help us by going canvassing this weekend at our third Days of Action. Canvass shifts on Saturday are 9:45am-1pm, and 2-5pm.(Meeting at The crossings Publix shopping center:13001 SW 112th street, Miami) Sunday:11am-2pm and 2pm-5pm. Be aware August 20 deadline for absentee ballot request is a state mandated date. miami-dade elections says that is far too close for comfort. It is unlikely a request on the 20th will be processed mailed and return in time for the election.
Requests can be made anytime, 24-7 online at the elections department's website.

This is where your endorsements come in. PBA volunteers, and other organizational groups who endorsed her should help with sign distribution. Young people should help at the shopping centers.

Don't just give the signs out with no accountability. Make sure you know how many signs were given to whom and they report back to the campaign the names and addresses of the people who will have them in their yards.

Wow guys, I did not realize how silly some can be. Lynda Bell has done nothing to harm the people of District 8. She looks out for everyone and does what she believes is in the best interest of her constituents, only. We certainly do not need a liberal fruitcake like Daniella Levine Cava on the County Commission and have a repeat of other fruitcakes like Sorenson and Hawkins. Sure Bell may be a tad extreme on her conservative views, but its not like she throws them in everyone's faces. Sure I may be biased since I'm a moderate Republican and I do not agree with Bell on every issue, but does someone's view on abortions matter in a job that deals with things like water management and urban development? Bell has done her job well on the County Commission and I look forward to going to my election precinct on August 26th and casting my vote for her. Thank you.

It sickens me the way these Dade Democrats are jumping behind Cava, its a nonpartisan election for Pete's sake! Did you see Lynda Bell getting all of this help from Dade Republicans when she was running in 2010? No! She was successful on her own, not like Democrats like Cava believe that nobody was successful on their own.

Saying she has done nothing to harm the people of district 8 is not the same as saying she has done nothing to help the people of district 8. She has sure done a lot to help Linda BELL.

Are you kidding last comment? Bell was even working out of David Rivera's office for a while. He handled her absentee ballots. There was a republican slate and she was on it. When she went to the door she told people she was a fiscal conservative which means Republican. She was with Michele Bachmann on her bus. I have the pictures of her exiting the bus.

Comment before - have you not read some of the blogs that I've written about Linda Bell ---there are over 100. If you can say she has voted right every time after reading my blogs go ahead and vote for her. Especially look at the videos. By the way you aren't a moderate Republican if you vote for her, she's a teabag Republican. You obviously don't know anything about Daniella Levine Cava, and haven't bothered to look into her background. So I must assume you are a campaign worker for Lynda Bell.

to above;
Lynda support was thread bare in 2010 because she was just as unqualified then as she is now. Her ignorance of the job going in was astounding..but she did understand an AB machine which is how she won..

The difference now, other than she's a pro-$pecial intrest incumbent, is it's turned into a proxy fright over her BFF, the mayor's, read-my-lips-no-new-taxes, policies advocated primiarly by spanish radio.

To accomplish this he wants to close parks, shutter libraries and layoff cops...oh, unless you're a succesful pro-sport franchise, then we got a recurring check for you.

The cops I get, just vindictive, their union is supporting Cava , but it's not like the money isn't there to balance the budget, one tell is the mayor has more staff in his office making more money than Obama. (top white house salary $170,000) and his grand reorganizational scheme just shifted executives around so they don't show up on the TO.

In short, we don't need to layoff cops or sell our waterfront just to save a few shekels.

And if you think Lynda's hasn't got the full support of the Mayor's people and the GOP, then you're not paying attention.
