Oh Please! This is a Colossal Misstep by The Mayor for Life, Otis Wallace of Florida City. By Geniusofdespair

Makes you wonder what Bateman knows to get a letter like this written by a sitting mayor.

Just say no. Don't go. Don't give.

Misguided. This is a sad story for the Bateman's special needs son who doesn't understand any of this but will have to live with it.

This is sad...Bateman left a list of horrible actions that will have long-range consequences to the people of Homestead

His running the streets and drinking with his followers into the night are legendary. His arrests and investigations are many and he has had his Miranda rights read to him several times.

The best thing that happened to Homestead recently was when Bateman got arrested for the corrupt individual he is.

For the people of Homestead, his reign of corruption is over and we are moving on to bigger and better things.

Bateman thought he was above the law, but his arrest proved otherwise. The infamous former mayor spread his bed and now he must lie in it. In Homestead we are saying, “Good riddance to bad rubbish.”

Take a look at the mess he caused at the Homestead Housing Authority. He put people in place at the Authority, his friends, for no other reason but for his/their own personal agenda. The messes he caused there are too numerous to mention.

Now it is left to the new mayor to appoint quality people with integrity and dignity to the Housing Authority Board who have the training, knowledge, experience and compassion to clean up the mess Bateman left and return it to its rightful place of professionalism and relevance, looking after the people it was created to serve.

Those who give to this so-called Bateman Legal Defense Fund are no better than Bateman is and their names will be applied to two well-known sayings: “Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are,” and, “Birds of a feather flock together.”

Enough said.

Otis Wallace could put up his multi million dollar Keys mansion as a source of funding.
Then again maybe Bateman is just not that good of a friend.

Otis Wallace? Isn't he being investigated too?

Wait, I thought Ben Kuehne was a friend of EOM's. I thought he could do no wrong. The legal defense fund is to pay Ben. Why don't you talk to Ben and explain that taking money to defend Bateman is immoral.

Putz.

A defense attorney said...

Where is the word "immoral" except in your comment? I see misstep in the blog. A very different meaning. You really are a putz. Everyone with half a brain understands the role of a defense attorney.

He or she is a putz. Ignore

Otis Wallace! Mayor of the most corrupt city in Miami-Dade County! Florida City, gateway to the keys! Nothing gets in out unless Otis says so- if you get my drift. There are not enough jails in this county to put away all the corrupt mayors we have in this county.

Isn't Otis Wallace related to a corrupt Miami-Dade Commissioner?

Otis using his office to raise money for a private cause that is not not for profit ? Were Florida City postage and resources used to produce this request? If so, why not a public records request to see who Hizzoner reached out to touch. It is too bad we will never know who donated or how much was raised. Birds of a feather....

He is a lawyer, he can represent him free!

Mr Bateman could afford to buy a Mercedes for his wife while he was Major, but now that he is not he is asking for donations for his defense. Maybe he should now sell the Mercedes
