Right, 900 special interest donors because everyone knows Daniella's such a tool.

Democrat may not be impressed but I guarantee there is a Republican who is.

where's the report?

Waiting on Lynda's report.

Well. If there are special interests on there, I will still would go for the princess of light, rather the queen of darkness.

I was told that Lynda Bell raised $90K at a single event. I am looking forward to seeing if that is true and who these people were.

So impressed! She is an amazing candidate. Can't wait till she takes office.

Special interests is a fact of life. You gotta just look at the person anyway. Look how Katy always took money but stood her ground and voted her conscience.

Daniella is fabulous, a woman of integrity, but she can't compete without money. Some of it will probably come from special interests now that they see she might (will) get elected. That doesn't mean she's corrupt. Should she turn down donations from business interests to prove how pure she is, and lose as a result, leaving Lynda in place? Daniella has earned the trust of the community. I think it's great that she is in a position to run a serious campaign.

I have been told that the former County Manager and Mayor of Homestead Steve Shiver has endorsed Daniella. Maybe there is hope for him yet.

Many people, companies, and interests give money solely for access to whomever should win. You will notice as we move on in the election that some will give to both Cava and Bell. As you look closer you will find they have business before the Commission. They don't care who wins, they simply want to be able to get to the winner to plead their case when the time comes. Just because they give, doesnot mean they get what they want and they know that. They simply want access to the elected official.

So if my math is right, she raised $120,000 in January and $80,000 in February. That's a 50% drop off. it will be interesting to see if that initial January "Big #" is a sustainable pattern, or if she's blown her load early.

M you are getting very unlikeable working for lobbyists doesn't become you. Talking about gays as fairies ...you were a gentleman once. Of course Daniella's fundraising is going to drop off she doesn't have The luxury of being in office. Incumbents always rule in fundraising. Monestime raised about a quarter of what Dorrin Rolle raised. About what Daniella has raised so far total.

Love the "Spin" in anticipation to Lynda's numbers.

Can't wait to see those #s and have a more accurate picture.

M sat across from a cubicle of a lobbyist ex wife. The lobbyist that now rules the roost on the 29th floor.

M musta learned some tricks when he moved to the mayors office to replace someone else who left to be a lobbyist.

Tell M not to put to much stock in her $/month fundraising graph.

last i checked February had 28 days this year and I understand she was out of the county part of the time. it's a LONG way to November, if it goes to a runoff.

Which it might not.. It seems with numbers like this any serious contender thinking about it now isn't.. with just leaves Lynda to recruit a minority spoiler to run.

Last anon, I agree with you about the spoiler candidate. If a Hispanic runs in Dist. 8, it will make it a whole new ball game. Rivera got away with it even though there's chatter to the opposite. As long as Rubio is in the Senate nothing will come of it. It would not surprise me if one is already being recruited and they're going to get better at hiding their funding source.

Beware Natacha the VILE QUEEN lurks behind Daniella

Hmmm. Spare us the Natacha drama. As a social worker, I appreciated natacha from her social interest point of view. Doesn't mean I had to like her politics.
