Sucker for some stuff from broadway. By Geniusofdespair

Dedicated to the reform of Pepe Diaz...I know it is coming. And also this is dedicated to Juan Zapata who knows he shouldn't build schools outside the UDB. I hope he doesn't become one of the unreformable majority. I will pray for him.

Well, Genius, Not only did I watch your 2 videos, I yahoo'd the song and spent another hours watching vocalists sing and somewhat trash the song.

Out of your choices, I vote for Sara. I thought her dramatics were a bit strange. (amazing orchestra and pretty lady)
-------------
Other great presentations:
Elaine Paige (owns it)
Suzan Erens (cute gal)
Nicole Scherziner (elegant)
Patti LuPone (was Evita)
-------
Weird Presentations:
IL Divo - as much as I like to listen to them, I couldn't get around them singing as if they were a girl.

The Glee guys singing it.
---------
Other versions that are lacking:
Donna Summers
Petula Clark
The Carpenters
----------
Really Bad:
Joan Baez (really really looked like she hated the song)
Madonna (nothing like bare buns to make a song powerful).

And Bless all those nervous college seniors singing this song for their senior recitals. (including the one chick in the dress with static cling on the bum while she sang)

I did not discover any musical wonders in the the Karaoke dept either.

Anyway, thank you for entertaining me this evening.
