First anon, come play with us here. We are skarky for sure. Please bring all your friends. Have your first cup of coffee with us in the morning.

There is not an elected official in this town who doesn't read this blog every day. Mostly they hope they aren't mentioned. I heard that you can't read this blog when you are in the Clark building, so the county employees guiltily rush home to see what kind of effluence is foating on the top of that overly-chlorinated water that Miami Dade Water and Sewer streams into your home.

Welcome!

Does anyone else remember one of Bell's first ordinances regarding the pool contractors licensing requirements? Does she have family/friends in the pool business? The reason it's interesting is because it almost mirrors this later fence ordinance and I will now bet money it was to help "someone" directly who she didn't disclose then a few months later rfp's went out for "pool services" for the County. How do I look in to this? She made an eerily similar claim that people simply cleaning pools needed licenses, and some of her kids cleaned pools for extra money when they were younger. Now, I've got to wonder - who got those pool contracts and who benefited from the no licenses needed pool ordinance.

On page 4 is the pool issue from the master plan of the Koch Brothers.

You may want to look up the Tallahassee votes of our local legislators on these issues. They seem to be working in tandem with our Miami Dade BCC.

It wasnt contracts for cleaning pools, it was family\friends\donors who were cited for unlicensed contracting while "just"cleanning pools.
