I am Uninformed. By Geniusofdespair

So says Joe Centorino. Here are the documents that are to inform both me and all of you. Centorino said I should have read the documents but I didn't have them to read. They were not posted anywhere. Now I do have them and so do you. After reading the documents, I still think a bid should be thrown out. Sorry Joe, I am entitled to my first amendment right to have an opinion even if it is based on my instincts that packages shouldn't be sent to the selection committee. We aren't just talking about emails. As the OIG mentions contacting you in September, there would have been plenty of time to get this information posted so I wouldn't have, as you said, "not throw out uninformed opinions". Please read blog from yesterday for my uninformed opinion. I did have access to the OTHER ethics opinion so I was half informed. And I was informed about the absentee ballot shenanigans in Homestead when you were not (I notified you and gave you the contact information). We all get our information when we get it. I didn't get mad at you for not knowing about that case in Homestead, I was happy to INFORM you.
sounds unethical to me...

People you MUST read the documents I post. I don't do this for fun. It is for your education. This is a fucking big contract.

I don't suppose there is a higher body who can review Centorino's opinion, is there? He did say that he was only speaking for himself, did he not? Can the entire ethics board over-rule and disqualify CH2M?

Deadline for submissions of bid packets.
Cone of Silence - no contact.

Violations: Yes

As a former mayoral staffer, I promise there are cones of silence. Really.

Joe Centorino is full of shit. I filed an ethics complaint against him for abuse of power an misuse of public money earlier toay. Since he's been the executive director, the ethics commission has become nothing but a giant swamp pito f haphazard investigations, phony opinions, an just out an out violations of laws like the Sunshine Law.

It's time for "Let 'em go Joe," to go!

Not sure why you deleted my comment about him on your earlier post. Are we allowed to call him "Let'em Go Joe"?

Never mind. I see that it is still there and was not deleted. Here is what I wrote:

This is exactly why Joe Centorino is known by everyone as "Let'em Go Joe."

Not sure if it's incompetence or collusion, but he is horrible. I would rather have no ethics director than one who validates corrupt practices as lawful.

Whenever you see a lawyer use words such as "aforementioned" and "herein," you can be sure that he is an insecure moron who is attempting to mask his lack of intellect. An intelligent and competent attorney writes concisely and uses plain language.

Haven't you caught on to Centorino's scam yet? He will do everything he can to avoid a confrontation because of fear of failure. I have known him for over 15 years.

Don't blame Joe. Read the document by the Mayor on what he asked for.

Fair process gave way to unfair lobbying as one bidder sought to gain an upper hand by adding new information after the bids were unsealed. The Mayor should either call for a new bid, or split the baby. New bid is better public process, and allowed for improved bid specs. But it also delays pump station fixes that will impose other societal costs. Not a happy situation for any mayor.

Throw out the bids, start again but WITHOUT a project manager.

It's a colossal waste of money having a "project manager" for the wastewater and potable water projects envisioned.
