May 9th. Are we getting what he promised? Actually he didn't promise much.

Hard to do but he did it.

He did say he wanted the next generation to have the same opportunities that he had. Really? Should people get paid more in pensions than they earned while working? (He makes over $120,000 a year from the City of Miami Pension System). Should the City foot the entire bill for your college education while working as a firefighter? After leaving city employment, should you get health insurance covered by the City until you qualify for Medicare? Exactly what opportunities was he referring to? Between the City Pension, the County Pay and the School Board paycheck earned by his spouse, his household pulls in over $400,000 from local government every year. Is that the type of opportunity he wants to guarantee for the next generation?

Carlos Gimenez made a campaign promise to enforce the County Sign Code. He failed. Once elected he never enforces the County Sign Code and in fact, he is actively supporting the outlaws from the outdoor advertising industry.ge

He's another Penelas...making his friends into millionaires. I'm sick and tired of his mouthpiece lobbyist George Lopez defending this P.O.S. His driver and fitness coach, Ralfie, is on his way to making millions from the Water and Sewer operations. Even his daughter-in-law is running around working as a lobbyist. The only thing these people know how to do is suck on the government teat. When will we get a Mayor who actually is capable of running a government that serves the people?

Carlos Gimenez is pulling in $400,000 per year from the taxpayers yet he never does anything to help the taxpayers it is all about serving his fire union buddies and that creep Berkowitz.
