Want to get more involved in the Lynda Bell Recall? by Geniusofdespair

Lynda Bell
Miami Economic Sustainability Alliance, as soon as the recall petition is certified by County Clerk Harvey Ruvin, will go into full gear.  They will be accepting checks and training volunteer petition gathers.  Petitions in Miami Dade County need to be notarized. Not the person signing - the person collecting, so there is a bit of training for collectors.

Unless you live in district 8 you cannot sign this petition. However, you can either send a check to hire petition gatherers or you can take a trip down there to District 8 and gather signatures. I will probably do both.  Even if Lynda Bell does get reelected after the recall, it does damage a politician, make no mistake. Ask Natacha Seijas who faced a recall petition twice.

Deborah Dion is the coordinator.  Email dion.deborah@gmail.com for more information.

It will be an interesting campaign finance issuer on her part. She has a war chest and so does Wayne Rosen under a PAC he's using to support either Mark Bell or Porter. What makes it all very interesting is Rosen wants the contract to build the new City Hall (Taj Mahal) in Homestead and I guess he doesn't have the support on the council because it's just too obvious. Make no mistake, Rosen will be involved in supporting Bell up to his eye balls! This would be great politically because maybe we can get rid of two for the recall of one. Rosen needs to be run out of Homestead politics and retire in the Bahamas with Bill Losner!

The other issue is Bell's current campaign funds cannot be used to defend the recall from what I understand, though, I'd like to see her do that all the way to a perp walk faster then the complaint could be filed!

This is so exciting. The witch maybe be out of here quicker then Seijas thankfully. I think people who actually vote in District 8 aren't going to rally to support someone meaner then VNS!

Love the pics! Does she always wear that GOP red? Thanks for once again making me laugh.

PS: She needs to wear longer skirts and outfits that fit.

Maybe this recall thing will get her to fund the fire, libraries and pets trust at the Sept. 10 budget hearing. She did say in her statement she loves animals.

Lynda Bell can vote on everything that I love I would not vote for her ever as commissioner.
Lynda Bell is stuck on stupid.
I will contribute to the recall financially.
Genius thanks for keeping us updated on the recall partition.7

Can you provide us (those interested in persuading the uninformed or apathetic public) with a list of 10 (or more/less if you deem appropriate) talking points as to why Lynda Bell should be recalled? Ideally, based on her voting record and positions she has taken that impact District 8 specifically. I apologize in advance for this request as I too could spend the time to put together a list but given that you are much more up to spend on the topic perhaps you would be willing to help us out. Happy to repay your efforts with a cold beer(s) at the local pub of your choice.

Yes, understood, but was thinking more of a concise bullet format that could be incorporated into an email/text blast or flyer that could be handed out. You have clearly opined on and detailed many of her activities/transgressions both in the public sphere as a Mayor/Commissioner and also her behind the scenes activities. Thank you for your efforts and contributions. The beer incentive was not very persuasive? ;-)

Lets see if the recall gets underway.

Why don't you contact the people who are recalling Bell. That way you're on the same page and I'm pretty sure they'll have a full page of talking points.
