Site Plan for the Scotty's Landing Area. By Geniusofdespair

Will a Don Shula's replace our beloved Scotty's Landing? According to the Miami Herald:
Scotty’s lease is up, and Miami city officials are considering a proposal to replace the landmark eatery, an affiliated marina and a fine restaurant nearby. The plan includes a casual pub that evokes the era of Charles Lindbergh, a high-end Peruvian seafood restaurant and a Shula’s Steak & Seafood — as well as a state-of-the-art boat storage facility, public promenade, banyan tree park, event space and a four-story parking garage.
The way it is now.

The scheme seems awfully busy? Why didn't more people bid? Scared off by the corruption?

The City of Miami should move its City Hall from the Coconut Grove waterfront to a site near Downtown. Downtown is more centrally located to all City residents and then the City could rent the old Pan Am air terminal to an amazing tenant.
