M-D State Attorney Kathy Fernandez Rundle finally awoken from her slumber? ... by gimleteye

It appears that the chronic, systemic abuses of elections in Miami-Dade -- in particular, absentee ballot fraud that substantially tilted elections in favor of fraudsters for many years in Miami -- finally stirred the somnabulent office of the state attorney.

Eye On Miami broke the story of absentee ballot fraud abuses, two years ago. Check our archives. The Miami Herald followed on our footsteps. Fair enough.

Apparently, however, abusers of the absentee ballots were counting on Rundle to do nothing. Why would they think otherwise, when so little had been done to investigate and prosecute the offenders?

It must come as a surprise to elected officials in Florida's most populous and politically influential county, the sleepy state attorney's office is taking the abuse of absentee ballots seriously. Is this just a passing phase? A burp after the flan.

Personally, I'll wait and see on this. It could just be a fluke. The chronically Big Sugared out State Legislature won't even make AB fraud a felony. Oh wait, they can't win without them south of I-4 at the State level nor can the sleazy local pol's down here in Miami Dade win without them.

Thank You Eye On Miami. The sad part it has taken two years after you woke us all up. With the help of you staying on the subject that is the key. Also the Miami Herald and that wonderful private investigator finding the people out who threaten our democracy. Now let's bring them to justice.

Don't be so sure. These are probably not her friends

Please read Al Crespo's blog today. Miami politics is as sleazy as ever, and the laws only apply as the mayor sees fit. Unless someone else runs for mayor, please excuse my lack of voting. Its no longer a choice of a lesser of 2 evils. Both candidates are scum and I can't even believe that's all we got. Any suggestions for a write-in?

I linked to the article thanks...
Write in? How about Rev. Dunn?

Little Francis Suarez gets bitch slapped by Al Crespo, again. Miami Herald writes two stories about Suarez's campaign and its goal to get absentee ballots. Lobbyist Steve Marin lurking in the background or the foreground?

I really hope you were kidding about Dunn, unless you meant Marvin.

No, wasn't kidding. I like to get sparks flying, that way the truth comes out.

Poor Richard Dunn was missing when God handed out brains. The "usual suspect" Steve Marin still manipulating Dunn? Pulling strings?

Three martini lunch Kathy has decided that now is a good time to handle absentee ballot fraud because her election is behind her and she feels that she is in the clear. Such a disgraceful human being

Baby X got spanked! That's all that happened...

Al Crespo has a copy of the subpoena on his site crespogramreport. SA has Suarez's computers. If they get by the passwords what will they find? Who is shoveling money into little X's account? And why?

I am happy she has taken my advice to use the bully pulpit (Herald Op Ed today). Better late than never.

Rundle needs to investigate all the criminal elected officials not just the enemies of her pals.

Kathy F-R knows how to pick her battles. Stephanie Kienzle writes about a similar situation which faced no investigation because Myron Rosner and F-R must be friends and family.
