Grand Jury Report Released on Absentee Ballot Voting. By Geniusofdespair

Read the grand jury report addressing absentee ballot fraud. Or, if you don't have time, read the much shorter Miami Herald article today Absentee voting fraud clouds confidence in tight election results.

In my view, these are the 3 most important recommendations from the Grand Jury's 23 recommendations:

* RETURN TO REQUIRING A WITNESS SIGNATURE.
* MAKE IT A FELONY TO BE CAUGHT WITH MORE THAN 2 BALLOTS.
* DO NOT RELEASE THE NAMES OF VOTERS WHO REQUEST ABSENTEE BALLOTS TO POLITICAL PARTIES, CANDIDATES AND PAC'S.

'Phantom' Requests  - Here is
how it was done. Hit to enlarge.
Here is the shocker in the report as told in the Miami Herald:
"Grand jurors made an astounding revelation: A county software vendor discovered that a clandestine, untraceable computer program submitted more than 2,500 fraudulent, “phantom” requests for voters who had not applied for absentee ballots in the August primary."
That sucks so bad, I am angry beyond anger.

Fernandez Rundle and Rebeca Sosa: Don't let them put this Grand Jury report on a shelf.

Hit read more for the Executive Summary of the Grand Jury report, including the recommendations:

Does not ring true.
"a clandestine, untraceable computer program submitted more than 2,500 fraudulent, “phantom” requests"
An evil genius walks among us or the States Attorney has denied us three times, clandestine untraceable , phantom.
Kill the cock before he crows again.

Did you ever consider that you should not be a mouse? How about a dog...woof.

How much you want to bet all those absentee ballot requests were in David Rivera's district. Elections should determine where those people lived to narrow down who did the deed.

When I leave this comment, I will need to repeat some letters and numbers to prove I am not a robot. Why was the computer security so lax at Elections when it is incorporated in your blog? Is my comment here more important than my vote?

The county pays its IT staff millions upon millions in salaries each year. Amazingly, not one of those overpaid losers was able to foresee the need for routine security that is found in even the most rudimentary websites.

I know you are a big apologist for Penny Townsley, Alina Hudak, and the rest of the incompetent cronies at Elections. Even you have to admit it is embarrassing that a grand jury had to recommend 13 common sense procedures to the department that they should have already implemented themselves.

Perhaps now you will see they need to clean house of the whole rotten bunch and conduct an honest competitive recruitment process to replace them.

17. Contact voters that submitted ballots without a signature or with a signature that didn't match to give them a chance to fix it.

Hey, there is a novel idea! So why didn't the lazy retards at the elections department come up with it?

Love the comments, some of them were what I would have said!

In any event, let's see what actually happens. I'm just hoping it doesn't disappear like the Watershed study did not so many years ago!

This is another reason I would not and will never support computer voting from ones home, fraud wouldn't even begin to cover those "glitches" or invisible stealth programs!

Hey Gimlete, I just re read that piece. Did anything ever surface evidence wise? It was an interesting read and believable enough in this day and age!

Congratulations! Your pioneering work on absentee ballot fraud has finally hit pay dirt. I know many times you question your work and whether it is worth it or not, but victories like this have to make you feel good. The 2,500 votes need further investigation. With the technology available to law enforcement now, it can be tracked to the source, and we can find out who recieved these votes. Some one got a big headstart, and some one needs to go to jail.
