Miami Gardens Mayor Shirley Gibson is running for County Commission District 1. If you have some money you can spare send it to her. Even $20 would help. We have to get that Barbara Jordan out.

Beautiful woman!
Very impressed with her commitment to public service and bettering the lives of those in her community.
It would be nice to have someone in the District 1 commission seat who will represent the community instead of a professional bureaucrat who often votes against the best interests of the people she represents.
Proven leadership and positive results for her community are attributes of Shirley Gibson. Our County Commission would serve the people better with her on board. She supports the cities and knows what they do a better job in municipal government. Let's get the County to do a better job at big government issues such as restoring our infrastructure.
I think Shirley will make an excellent Commissioner, not only for her District, but County wide.
Shirley is a proven, committed, and effective leader. A rare breed, indeed.
Barbara Jordan? Well, she uses a county police officer to chauffeur herself around in a county-owned car. Please don't forget that pesky $800-a-month car allowance. Double-dipping anyone?
And, please don't forget her salt water pool in the Keys. My, my, the assets our elected officials accumulate.
Shirley deserves this seat. She is a committed public servant with lots of experience. People in this district have a great opportunity to put a winner on the commission. Go Shirley!
