To Your Readers:

Should petitions have English, Spanish and Creole all on the same page? Or, should petition gatherers have the option of presenting petition forms in any language once the translations are approved? Don't you think it would make the petitions cleaner and easier to review if there was only one language on the form?

I still don't get why ballots needs to be in three languages. Isn't everyone supposed to be a citizen of the US before they can vote, and isn't the citizenship test in English? I'm just putting this out there to save some paper on the ballots, which have become increasingly long because they're not in one language!

my question is, how are the citizens informed of this schedule? Do they know 'when and where'? I haven't received any letters, nor found it in the Herald. Is it on a web site? As a concerned citizen, I feel they should do a better job informing us, so that we can participate.
Regarding the languages, I believe it is a good idea to have it multi-language written. This way, people Really Understand what they are supposed to be voting on, and it may promote better voter turnout.

I have been to the first two, and a handful of people are attending. I agree with the former writer, ..better desimination on meetings is essential, or this is just a total waste of time. Maybe this is what the commissioners wanted in the first place, so it looks like they tried but no one attended.
