Hold the Line Tomorrow!
Wed., Nov. 30 - 111 NW 1st Street, 2nd Floor 2 p.m.
Ferro Investment Group II, LLC will seek to move the Urban Development Boundary (UDB) line in an application that converts 9.9 acres from agriculture to business and office. Stand up to Sprawl and ask your elected officials to Hold The Line! Miami-Dade staff have recommended "deny and do not transmit" the proposed standard amendment to expand the 2015 UDB. This application would convert our valuable, agricultural land to office and retail. The EPA states that Miami-Dade County is at a critical point in converting too much of its agricultural land to development. Please attend and voice your opinions or contact your Commissioner!

Might be a great opportunity for Gimenez's first veto if it narrowly passes.
This application never passes. The UDB process needs reform so people do not have to do the Hold the Line Dance every two years.
I'm beyond sick of this application! I will not be attending, but will be watching whoever approves this one.
Thanks for keeping up the fight EOM. I may live half a world away these days but I still care about south florida environment.
Cheers to those who are holding the line!
