Earth to Rick Scott: You are an ass. By Geniusofdespair

Yesterday, ON EARTH DAY Rick Scott, your governor, asked the EPA to rescind water quality standards set for Florida:

“It is particularly galling that Scott is thumbing his nose at clean water on Earth Day. It says a lot,” said Earthjustice attorney David Guest in a prepared statement. “Polluters have been using our public waters as their private dumping grounds for too long, and it needs to stop. The corporate lobbyists who have Scott’s ear are good at what they do. Unfortunately, when they win, the rest of us lose.”

Happy Earth Day!

I love that you hate Rick Scott and want him out of office. Now you know how the rest of us feel about Obama.

At least Obama isn't setting himself up to become the next billionaire funded by taxpayer dollars. Wait till you see the results of Medicaid recipients when they are funneled thru managed care programs. Rick's entrepreneurial wife and her, not his, really, chain of Solantic clinics are sure to leave you flabbergasted in the end.

We did 8 years of Bush who led us into financial ruin.

Jose, that was really funny. It's late and I am catching up on reading and you caught me by surprise. Just spit coffee all over the computer screen.

As far as the Scott thing, look, he's making some creepy bed fellows. Their scoundrels of the first order from the private sector. Several have bilked government out of millions.

On water, I will be the first one to tell you that 3 to 4 times the cost of existing water will be a bad, bad thing for our local economy. Add the cost of gas to that, and we will be really screwed.

You know it is getting bad with you see the Peace Corps in our back yard, bring potable water to people in the Redland. I know, I am exaggerating...but, hey, do you have a well? If you do, I'd be worried.

Now, when the county does have to tie in water - that's when vultures will sweep.

Scott is doing bad things. Face it.
