The Brown Family (just got that favorable vote from her on the application to move the UDB Line) gave her at least $2,000. The only other candidates to get hefty Brown donations were dim Bruno and Vile Natacha Seijas.
We have Natacha's appointment to the (now defunct) Charter Review Task Force, Miguel DeGrandy, on Audrey's list. In fact, the DeGrandy Family name gave $2,000: Julie De Grande-Cancio, Lisa De Grandy, Miguel De Grandy and Miguel De Grandy, PA all gave $500 each.
Did you know that it is illegal for anyone to give a relative money and say: “Make out a check to this candidate?” So, you have to think that these family members all know and love Audrey, enough to fork over $500 for her.
You might ask yourself, why is Heni Koenigsberg, a homemaker from West Newton, Massachusetts and Marc S. Plonskier, a developer, from the same address giving Audrey $500 each. Mark appears to be an affordable housing developer with dozens of Corporations in Florida, many titled GHG. And what about Jo-Anne Dwyer from Cranston, Rhode Island and Roger Yorkshaitis from Boston giving $500 each? And then we have a union in New York “Unite Here Tip State & Local” giving $500. Many donations to Edmonson’s campaign came from Broward County.
In fact, there are very few donations from people in her district unless Coral Gables has been annexed.

It is amusing that they always talk about the needs of their district yet all the influence is from outside their district from those that would do harm to the good of their district.
Roger-that, in bold.
So who is calling in their chips for her? Seijas, maybe. Seijas has lots of them, chips that is.
i bet that those affordable housing contributors all are in line for some county funding for affordable housing that has to go through edmonson's committee...there is a round of funding coming up at her next committee meeting. wouldnt surprise me that anyone who applied for funding is getting hit up for cash...
The volume of money coming into these campaigns is an abomination.
This is a $6000 a year part time job and nearly all of the incumbents have raised about $100,000 each before most even have opposition.
Martinez raised $156,000 in three months for a total of $220,727 since his first reporting period at the end of 2007. Nearly all of those contributions are maxed out at $500.
He has two registered opponents. Combined they have raised $14,000 and spent $7,500 of their funds.
Sejas doesn't have an opponent and has $116,000 stashed away in her first quarter. Average contribution comes to $444.83.
Even Gimenez has piled up $171,500 with no opponent. Average of contributions = $360
Edmonson is lagging behind with a mere $78,500 in the bank. Average = $383.
Edmonson is training to replace Darren Rolle or Mrs Meek or Barbara Carey-Schuler as the biggest poverty pimps. The worse things are for their constituents the more money they make.
Then you have Spence-Jones who gets accused by her Pastor (and others) of shaking him down...
Dear Audrey,
I suggest you CHECK YOUR FACTS BEFORE, you publish! I am a professional film and video f/x makeup artist AND a Broadway Producer...
Certainly capable of making my own contributions...
DUH !
Heni Koenigsberg
